I'm Khoa Nguyen, a Vietnamese-American product designer and maker based in Los Angeles, driven by an obsession with how things are built, why they are built that way, and what happens when those assumptions are challenged.

My approach sits at the crossroads of industrial design, mechanical engineering, and hands, from the logic of a system to the resolution of a single joint, from material behavior under stress to the experience of the person who ultimately holds the object.

I'm particularly interested in the design of functional objects that carry conceptual weight, products that perform with precision while communicating something beyond utility. I'm fluent in digital fabrication, CNC processes, structural thinking, and material experimentation, and bring that technical literacy into dialogue with a strong design instinct shaped by art, fashion, and spatial practice.
