Ceramic Speaker
2026
This project explores the intersection of architectural form and industrial "failure." Utilizing a 3-D printed ceramic housing, the enclosure serves as a rigid, non-resonant vessel for high-fidelity audio. By replacing traditional MDF with a monolithic ceramic shell, this project leverages the high density and damping properties of kiln-fired clay. The project bridges the gap between mass-manufactured components and bespoke craft, treating the speaker not as a peripheral, but as a "design object".
