EXO Lamp
2025
Constructed from interwoven strips of wood bent and layered in controlled chaos, this pendant lamp reads differently in every condition. Unlit, it is pure structure — a dense, almost architectural weave of warm timber that holds its form through tension and geometry alone. Lit, it transforms entirely. The bulb within ignites the wood from the inside out, setting the grain alive in deep amber and burnt sienna, casting fragmented shadows that ripple outward across every surface in the room. The layering is deliberately non-repeating. Strips cross at irregular angles, some flat, some torqued, creating gaps and compressions that interrupt the light unevenly—producing a glow that breathes rather than beams. There is no single point of brightness, no clean edge. The lamp spills light the way embers do: diffused, warm, and ancient-feeling.
